Tyler Movie Terrified Test Audiences

Violent scenes in Liv Tyler's new movie The Strangers are so realistic, test audiences fled cinemas fearing the actress was being killed for real. Tyler and Scott Speedman play a couple terrorised and held hostage in their own home by a group of masked intruders. The film is based on a real event, and contains graphic scenes of violence, that left Tyler battered and bruised and filmgoers terrified. The actress explains, "I was literally covered in bruises for half the year. It was as far as I could push myself in every way: physically, emotionally, mentally. "I remember the producer calling me and saying that the audiences freaked out because they thought it was a snuff film."

German guitar player Axel Rudi Pell is one of cloggy metal's masterminds, thanks to his volute playacting techniques and pinch-hitting riffs which crafted Pell as a mainstay in the hard john Rock genre for the majority of the hair metal '80s. His first band, Steeler, kicked off a mild calling in Europe during the early piece of the decennary, issuing trey albums (Steeler [1984], Rulin' the Earth [1985], Strike Back [1986]) prior to 1987's Undercover Animal, which signaled the beginning of Pell's long-sought solo calling. This professional junket allowed Pell to fully queer his riveting playing big businessman and collaborations betwixt he and other musicians. His 1989 debut Wild Obsession showcased ex-Steeler's bassist Volker Krawczak and vocal good luck charm from Charlie Huhn, simply 1991's soph effort proved Pell's finding. Cruddy Reputation was heavier, throttling with Rob Rock on vocals and a unequivocal stance for Pell to too breach upon neoclassical influences. Later albums such as Black Moon Pyramid (1996) and Oceans of Time (1998) were exquisitely down pat, churned-up interchangeable sounds of Rainbow and Deep Purple. Axel Rudi Pell proven his single star status, most celebratory, like guitar champion Yngwie Malmsteen, throughout the '90s as well, issuing a veer of releases spell left over a chief force out among the German charts.

Angelina Jolie: 'Disney Offends Me And My Children'

Angelina Jolie and her two daughters have been left upset by Disney because none of their movies feature African princesses.

The pregnant star and partner Brad Pitt are disappointed by the lack of different cultures featured in children's films and are urging the movie giant to be more diverse.

The actress insists educating their children about culture is important in the Jolie-Pitt household.

She tells OK!: "(So) even the colour of the children in the cartoon matters.

"There still isn't a Disney princess that's African and it's very difficult because our daughters' getting into princesses right now and it upsets me."

Jolie and Pitt have three adopted children: Maddox, Pax, and Zahara, as well as biological daughter Shiloh.

Rowling offers glimpse into Harry prequel

LONDON (Reuters) - The secret of what happened before boy
wizard Harry Potter went to Hogwarts will be revealed through
the unusual channel of a charity auction next month.

Author JK Rowling has penned an 800-word outline of a
prequel to the seven book series that has made her into a
billionaire which will be sold at the auction on June 10 by
bookseller Waterstones.

The outline, which ends with the line "From the prequel I
am not working on -- but that was fun!" is one of 13 story
outlines written for the auction by famed authors including new
Bond writer Sebastian Faulks and Nobel laureate Doris Lessing.

"What's Your Story? just gets more and more exciting -- all
these brilliant works by amazing writers and illustrators,
every one a small masterpiece," said Waterstone's chief Gerry
Johnson.

"We never dreamed that JK Rowling would donate something so
precious, and we're incredibly grateful."

The money raised will go to charities English PEN and
Dyslexia Action.

Other authors who have donated outline works are Lisa
Appignanesi, Margaret Atwood, Lauren Child, Richard Ford, Neil
Gaiman, Nick Hornby, Michael Rosen, Axel Scheffler, Tom
Stoppard and Irvine Welsh.
